University of Illinois College of Medicine/Rockford

The University of Illinois College of Medicine offers a one-year fellowship which is UCNS accredited. On site faculty include 2 Headache specialists with primary care training and background, a general neurologist, and our physical therapist. The program director has practiced Medicine for 38 years the last 20 of which has been in headache medicine. The fellowship emphasizes caring for the whole patient including comorbid conditions. In addition, headache procedures are very frequently performed and taught by our headache medicine staff. The treatment of concussion and mild TBI are strong components of the fellowship as well.
