Special Interest Groups

As of 2024, the American Headache Society offers 21 Special Interest Groups to members. The SIGS are designed to enhance the Society’s scientific, educational, and patient care goals. Joining a SIG is one of the easiest and most rewarding ways for members to participate and demonstrate leadership within the Society.

If you are a Chair of a Special Interest Group and want to make an update to your SIG webpage, please submit a request here.

Special Interest Group Project

Each year, AHS funds one innovative, SIG-led project, up to $10,000, that is aligned with the Society’s mission, informs Society efforts, or benefits members, SIGs, and/or Committees.

Collaborative efforts between SIGs are encouraged, and SIGs may submit more than one project proposal. For questions about eligibility or the submission process, contact Jennifer Carroll at jcarroll@talley.com
