NYU Langone Health offers a one-year, UCNS accredited Headache Medicine fellowship program for neurologists. Fellows receive a comprehensive headache educational experience including both clinical and didactic training in the basic science, diagnosis, and management of primary and secondary headache disorders and facial pains. Fellows gain experience in procedural skills, an understanding of outpatient intravenous infusion therapies, and have access to the multidisciplinary offerings at NYU that are essential to the management of complex headache disorders. At this time the Division of Headache is led by Robert Fryer MD PhD and comprised of four headache medicine specialists. Applicants for the fellowship class 2026-2027 will once again be accepted through the match.
