University of Connecticut / Hartford Healthcare Headache Center

Our one-year UCNS-accredited program offers both clinical and research experience for those interested in pursuing advanced training in headache science. Fellows will see adult patients with a wide-range of primary and secondary headache and craniofacial pain disorders from diverse demographic segments in an outpatient setting and become proficient in advanced procedures such as nerve blocks, trigger point injections, Botox administration and sphenopalatine ganglion blocks. Weekly didactic lectures and academic research time are built in to the Fellow’s schedule and allow ample time for trainees to explore specific areas of interest and author research articles.
