“The painful truth about migraine is that there are millions of people battling this disease,” says Howard Rosen, CEO of the American Headache Society. The Society’s mission is to improve the care and lives of people living with headache disorders through educating health professionals and the public, and encouraging scientific research about this disabling disease. Developments in headache medicine and initiatives like World Brain Day give patients and providers many reasons to be hopeful.

The American Headache Society is proud to partner with the World Federation of Neurology and the International Headache Society on this global awareness campaign. By speaking out about the painful truth, we validate our patients and advocate for a future with better treatment.
