Overview
Since the inaugural meeting in 1970, the Scottsdale Headache Symposium® continues to be a successful venue for providing practical, clinical, evidence-based information on the diagnosis, management and treatment of headache patients. Education is presented in didactic, case-based, evidence-based, panel and demonstrative formats over the course of four days.
Who Should Attend?
This symposium is designed for general practitioners, internists, pediatricians, neurologists, anesthesiologists, dentists, physical therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other health professionals who treat headache.

AHS is pleased to offer a special group rate at the meeting venue hotel for our attendees and industry supporters. Please note the cutoff date for the property. Group rate rooms may not be available if sold out.
The group room rate for Symposium participants is $299/night (single/double) + $20 Resort Service Charge, plus taxes. Reservations and rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until November 11, 2026, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. After that date, reservation requests will be based on the hotel’s prevailing rate. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.
A booking link will be included in your registration confirmation email. Only registered attendees can book hotel rooms as part of the AHS block.

Please register with the same email address that you use for your Education On Demand account. If you are registering a group, please use the attendees’ email addresses, and not your own.Please do not use the same email address for multiple attendees. This will affect your access to the meeting evaluation and On Demand recordings.
Are Group Discounts Available?
Yes. Please register one attendee at full price and email AHS headquarters with the attendee’s name at ahshq@talley.com. We will then provide you with a discount code to receive $25 off each additional attendee in your group.
Can I Register Onsite?
Yes, while we recommend registering in advance, onsite registration will be available.
How Do I Switch From In-Person to On Demand Registration?
Attendees wishing to move from the In-Person Experience to On Demand access due to health, inability, or discomfort with traveling may change their registration at any point with no penalty. Please email AHS headquarters at ahshq@talley.com to request the change.
I Can No Longer Attend. Can I Switch My Registration to a Colleague?
Yes! Please contact AHS headquarters at ahshq@talley.com to switch your registration to someone else. Please be sure to have their contact information available.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Requests must be submitted via email no later than Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Once the cancellation is processed, all fees (less a $100.00 processing fee) will be refunded. If paid by credit card, please allow up to five business days for the credit to show in your bank account. We cannot offer refunds after the November 11 deadline.
Can I Bring a Guest?
Yes, guest passes are available to purchase during online registration for $100 each, or at the registration desk once onsite. Guest passes will provide access to the exhibit hall and evening receptions. All meeting sessions, symposia, and refreshment breaks are available to registered attendees only. Please note: All guests must be 21 or older.
What is Your Age Policy?
Access to AHS meeting spaces and the exhibit hall is restricted to registered attendees who are 18 years of age or older. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in these areas at any time.
MEETING EVALUATION/CME
How Do I Access the Overall Meeting Evaluation?
The meeting evaluation will be available via Education On Demand beginning Friday, December 4. Whether you’re claiming CME or simply attending as part of the Scottdale community, we urge you to take a few moments to complete. Your feedback helps shape future American Headache Society events and ensures we continue to deliver meaningful, relevant programming.
Note: CME will be awarded upon completion of the evaluation, but submitting feedback is encouraged for all attendees, regardless of CME participation.
How Many CME Credits Are Available?
Live Activity: up to 21.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
On Demand Activity: up to 20.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
On Demand Pre-courses: up to 19.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
How Do I Access A CME Certificate?
As you progress through the evaluation course, you will be prompted to enter the number of CME being claimed and the type of CME. Be sure to select AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ (MDs/DOs) or Participation Credit (all others) when selecting your CME type to access a certificate. After you enter the number of CME credits being claimed, you will be prompted to download your certificate. Once this process is complete, your certificate will remain available in your transcript via your Education On Demand account.
ON DEMAND ACCESS
This year, sessions will not be live-streamed. Most sessions will be recorded and available via Education On Demand beginning Tuesday, December 22, 2026 through Tuesday, June 22, 2027. Recorded sessions are indicated on the program agenda here.
All in-person registrants receive full access to On Demand recordings. Pre-courses will be available separately.
