Get Excited for the 2026 Scottsdale Headache Symposium

Registration is now open to AHS members for the 2026 Scottsdale Headache Symposium®! We’re returning to the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa from Scottsdale, Arizona, on December 3-6, 2026. For over 50 years, this annual event has brought together clinicians, researchers, and trainees from across the country for practical, real-world education designed to enhance patient care and treatment of headache disorders.

More than just a conference, the Scottsdale Headache Symposium is where the headache community connects. Whether you’re refining your clinical skills, sharing new research, or connecting with peers who share your passion for headache medicine, you’ll join colleagues and mentors for lively discussions, hands-on learning, and opportunities to collaborate in a welcoming environment.

What to Expect

This year’s program offers four days of presentations, interactive case-based discussions, expert panels, and hands-on workshops to provide plenty of opportunities for education, discussion, and connecting with peers. Sessions cover the full spectrum of headache diagnosis, treatment, and management, from foundational principles to emerging therapies and challenging clinical scenarios.

The weekend also features the Frontiers in Headache Research Scholarship Award presentation and talks showcasing early-career research, networking opportunities throughout the event, and the Wine and Cheese Reception on Saturday evening, where attendees can unwind and chat with their headache peers.

Participants can earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits®, AAFP, and ABPN Self-Assessment Credit. Recorded sessions will be available via Education On Demand and included with registration.
