Patient Education Kit for Migraine
The Complementary and Integrative Medicine (CIM) SIG’s Patient Education Kit for Migraine provides a concise, evidence-based summary of lifestyle and behavioral strategies that have been shown to reduce migraine frequency and severity over time.
Developed by SIG members and based on peer-reviewed scientific research, this resource offers clinicians practical approaches that can be incorporated into patient care. Each recommendation is supported by relevant citations from the medical literature.
The content may be integrated into SmartPhrases or electronic medical record systems for use in patient instructions, visit summaries, and educational handouts.
