About the Rotation

Our headache elective at Henry Ford Health provides 3rd and 4th-year medical students with focused experience in the evaluation and management of headache disorders at a dedicated Headache Center. Students will work alongside 5 specialized headache faculty, gaining exposure to a wide range of primary and secondary headaches, as well as procedures such as nerve blocks and Botox, and infusion therapies for acute and preventive treatment. The rotation is outpatient and occurs at our main downtown clinic and our satellite clinics in suburban Detroit.

Number of Headache Teaching Attendings: 2

Offerings: Outpatient, Procedures, Journal Club, Didactic Lectures, Case Conference

Headache Fellowship: Currently in the process of applying for UCNS accreditation.

Prerequisites: MS3, MS4

Accepts Visiting Students: Yes
