Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) — a leader in academic medicine, research, and innovation — is seeking a dedicated Neurologist, specializing in Headache Medicine to join our growing team in the Department of Neurology.

Central to this growth is Vista Pavilion, a state-of-the-art, 14-story inpatient facility that opened April 2026 on our main campus, adding significant capacity for adult cancer care and other complex needs.

The Department of Neurology is one of the nation’s top neurologic research and training programs, with one-of-a-kind laboratories and nine fellowship programs. The OHSU Headache Center consists of a UCNS-certified physician in Headache Medicine, a sleep specialist, and a UCNS accredited Fellowship in Headache Medicine. The candidate will have access to advanced headache care through robust procedure clinics, outpatient infusions, close collaboration with our orofacial pain specialists, neuro-ophthalmologists and neuro-endocrinologists.

This full-time position includes providing outpatient clinical care, teaching to our students, residents, fellows and participation in scholarly activities (research, quality improvement or curriculum development).

Required Qualifications

Doctorate in medicine and residency training in Neurology required.
Current unlimited Oregon MD/DO (or equivalent) license prior to start.
Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Neurology required.
UCNS certified Headache Fellowship completion required.
Registered with Federal Drug Administration and be authorized to prescribe medications.
Ideal candidates will have interest and expertise in research/scholarship/discovery.
Demonstrated competence in patient care & teaching.
