Assistant Professor 

The Emory University School of Medicine Department of Neurology seek a full-time fellowship-trained physician board-certified or board-eligible in Headache Medicine. We are seeking candidates with enthusiasm and a creative mindset to be part of its inaugural Headache Center team. About Headache Medicine at Emory University

The candidate will have a dedicated outpatient headache medicine practice and administer clinical care and procedures, including onabotulinumtoxinA injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks. The candidate will also have access to advanced headache care through outpatient and inpatient infusions. The role provides opportunities to liaise with other specialties, including Emory’s world-class neuro-ophthalmology program, sleep medicine, cognitive neurology, neurosurgery, psychology, psychiatry, etc. There are also ample opportunities for career growth in clinical education, research, and inpatient headache medicine.

General Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) required, preferably with board certification in Neurology.
  • Hold a Georgia medical license or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Subspecialty training and/or certification in headache medicine required.
