Recognizes an individual who is an advanced practice provider with long-standing contributions to advancing clinical practice in the field of Headache.

The Advanced Practitioner Award recognizes substantial contributions in the areas of practice expertise, leadership, mentoring, education, advocacy and/or collaborative activities that have an impact at the state, regional, national or international level. 

Recognizes an individual who has made significant advancements in diversity, equity, and inclusion and/or worked to eliminate health disparities in Headache Medicine.

The DEI Award recognizes outstanding contributions to DEI work in research, clinical practice, or advocacy. Nominees should have demonstrated substantial, meritorious service to patients with headache from underserved populations, advancing advocacy and/or education to further DEI goals, or original research (basic science, clinical, educational, and/or multidisciplinary research related to DEI and/or health disparities in Headache Medicine).

Given in recognition of prominent status and contributions to the field of orofacial pain and headache research.

The Steven B. Graff-Radford Orofacial Pain and Headache Award was named in honor of the late Dr. Steven B. Graff-Radford, for his profound contributions to the dental field and among his many accomplishments, the first dentist to become a board member of the American Headache Society.

Recognizes an investigator, regardless of sex/gender, whose body of work has made an outstanding contribution to the understanding of topics related to women's health (sex or gender) and Headache Medicine.

The Women's Health Science Award makes a statement that women's topics in headache medicine are of crucial importance and that enduring work in such an area should be recognized and rewarded. Investigators whose original research has pertained to basic science, clinical or multidisciplinary research may be considered for this award.
