Medical Student Scholarship Award

This scholarship supports medical students' attendance at the Scottsdale Headache Symposium®, and encourages the next generation of clinicians, educators, advocates, and researchers to engage with the headache medicine community.

The applicant must be a medical student with demonstrated interest in headache medicine, neuroscience, neurology, or a related field, and enrolled in an accredited MD- or DO-granting medical school in the United States (including Puerto Rico) in any year of training. The applicant must be in good academic standing, be able to attend the full Symposium in person, and demonstrate an interest in headache medicine or related clinical, educational, advocacy, or research activities.

Recipients will receive complimentary meeting registration and up to $800 in travel reimbursement, and also receive a one-year AHS Trainee membership or extension of existing membership.
