Academic Headache Neurologist - Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital - Boston, MA

The Departments of Neurology at the VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital are seeking an ABPN certified Neurologist with a primary interest and expertise in headache medicine.  The candidate will have the opportunity to develop a clinical practice jointly at the Graham Headache Center at Brigham and Women’s/ Faulkner Hospital and within the VA Boston Healthcare System and to join the faculty of Harvard Medical School.

The position will be divided between 0.75 FTE at BWFH at and 0.25 FTE at the VABHS.

The successful candidate should be board-certified in Neurology and have fellowship training in headache medicine. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role will include opportunities for clinical research including clinical trials, and teaching.  Outstanding candidates at earlier stages of their careers will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Appointment at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. The Harvard appointment carries an obligation to teach within the Harvard community a minimum of 50 hours per year.  We anticipate the successful candidate will be qualified for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level.
