Opportunity Overview
Spectrum Health Neurosciences is recruiting for a Headache Psychologist – Virtual Hybrid Possible
The Headache Psychologist provides behavioral medicine services to patients in a tertiary Headache Clinic in close collaboration with Neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers.
The role entails providing consultation services, assessment, evidence based psychotherapy, lifestyle / behavior modification and biofeedback for patients with headache. Spectrum Health offers the first comprehensive Headache Center in West Michigan. Flexible virtual options available
Providers in the clinic are invested in a biopsychosocial approach to patient care, employ a team based approach and value involvement of the Headache Psychologist. The Psychologist may also be involved in other multidisciplinary clinics in neurology, such as a pre-symptomatic genetic testing clinic for Huntington’s Disease.

Requirements
• Required Doctorate Ph.D., PsyD or EdD in psychology
• Experience working in an organization of a size and complexity comparable to Spectrum Health. Preferred
• LIC-Psychologist – State of Michigan
• CRT-Board Cert Clinical Psychology (BC-CP)

Preferred Qualifications:
A background in Clinical Health or Rehabilitation Psychology is preferred.
