The Department of Neurology at the Mount Sinai Health System invites candidates to apply for a full-time position in headache medicine joining the largest health care system in New York City. These new recruits will become members of the Department of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System, and become part of the headache medicine network. Opportunities exist integrating the clinical endeavors with the robust clinical and basic science research network at Mount Sinai.
Job responsibilities include clinical activities as well as teaching residents, medical students, and fellows in headache medicine and pain medicine. The individuals will work closely with the other members of the team treating patients with headache and facial pain disorders. They will also work closely with those in allied departments, including anesthesiology, ENT, dentistry, and rehabilitation medicine.
Ideal candidates will seek to establish a track record of excellence in clinical care, integration with clinical quality standings, and foster a high level of teamwork with colleagues.
Candidates will have completed an ACGME-approved neurology residency, have significant interest and experience in headache medicine, and be eligible to obtain licensure in New York State.
