Headache Neurologist

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic’s Department of Neurology in conjunction with the Geisel School of Medicine seeks an Academic Neurologist with UCNS accredited fellowship training in Headache Medicine to join our faculty. This full-time clinical position includes caring for outpatients with headaches, and attending rotations on the neurology inpatient and outpatient consultative services. Since education is a fundamental mission of our Department, and faculty members have an important role teaching fellows, residents and medical students, evidence of excellence in teaching is preferred.

The Department of Neurology is very active in neuroscience research, and previous clinical and translational research training and experience in headache are particularly valued.

A faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be recommended at a rank commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology and Headache
  • Must obtain and maintain a NH Medical License

Dartmouth-Hitchcock also offers an outstanding benefits package including, but not limited to:

  • Paid vacation, holiday and sick days
  • Competitive CME allowance
  • Medical/Dental/Vision
  • Employer-funded retirement plan with full vesting after 3 years of vesting service
  • Relocation Assistance

We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Dartmouth-Hitchcock sits at the heart of the Upper Valley, a region straddling Vermont and New Hampshire, described by Yankee Magazine as “a place of unexpected discoveries.” With no income or sales tax, this beautiful area combines history, industry and business and has been ranked consistently as one of the best places in the US to live and work. Anchored by the academic Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, the system includes the NCI-designated Norris Cotton Cancer Center, the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock; 4 affiliated hospitals and 30 Dartmouth- Hitchcock ambulatory clinics across the region. With destinations like Boston, New York, the seacoast and ski country within driving distance, the opportunities – both career and personal – truly make New Hampshire the ideal place to work and play.
