Opportunity to join the largest headache medicine program in Wisconsin. The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is offering the opportunity to join a team of 4 board-certified headache medicine faculty physicians and 2 advanced practice providers in an academic headache medicine practice at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Position highlights include:
- Exclusively headache medicine ambulatory practice
- UCNS accredited Headache Medicine fellowship
- Active clinical trials and research unit
- Train neurology residents
- Part of a comprehensive neurosciences team including, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neuro-ophthalmology and social work.
The candidate will join the MCW Department of Neurology with over 70 faculty members providing extensive subspecialty and research support. The section of Headache Medicine has become the number 1 reason for patient visits to the Department of Neurology. The program offers a comprehensive program working with the Departments of Behavioral Medicine, Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with their active Spine Care program and minor Traumatic Brain Injury program and Otolaryngology.
- UCNS Headache Medicine Board Certification or Board Eligible
- Successful record of clinical excellence, research, and leadership, with a strong interest in teaching
- Wisconsin licensure or eligible
